Robert Primosch has been practicing
communications law since 1986, providing regulatory and
transactional counsel to cable television systems, wireless
cable systems, private cable operators, radio and television
broadcast stations, and proponents of new wireless video, data,
and multimedia technologies. He has represented large
telecommunications companies, smaller entrepreneurs and trade
associations before the Federal Communications Commission in
many rulemakings that directly affect the cable, broadcast and
telephone industries, and provides regulatory counsel to
start-up companies on new uses of spectrum for online and other
two-way services.
Mr. Primosch has also provided extensive
transactional support to clients in connection with sales and
acquisitions of cable, broadcast and telephone companies. In
addition, he has appeared before the federal Court of Appeals on
behalf of local television stations, and has represented cable
operators and television stations before the United States
Copyright Office on compulsory licensing matters.
Mr. Primosch has authored a number of articles
on current communications issues, and is Co-Chairman of the
Federal Communications Bar Association's Ad Hoc Committee on
Alternative Multichannel Video Practice.
